"Illuminations" at Botanica - Wichita Ks Nov 29th - Dec 31st

"Illuminations" at Botanica continues to be a Holiday tradition

 for many families! 

  This year there are new themed displays, including gigantic lit flowers in the

wildflower meadow and the Snowflake Lounge on the Pavilion where beer, wine and liqueur will be available to spice up Hot Beverages on Friday and Saturday nights.   Santa will be at Botanica every evening until December 23rd and many music groups will provide entertainment inside and out.    Guests can warm up indoors with hot drinks and snacks, available in the Terrace Room, the Pavilions and the Downing Children's Garden Party Barn.                 

 New features include: Gobo lights ( lights with images projected onto a surface ), Spheres wrapped in lights,  revamped light show, a monster tree will come to life with a bright red nose, a funky art tree along the path to the Pavilion is being decorated with everything from bicycles to Chandeliers.  

And, more starfield projectors will be added in the Shakespeare Garden along with fog in the Shakespeare Garden fountain. .

Illuminations runs 7 nights a week from 5:30 to 8:30 pm, through December 31st ( excluding December 24th and 25th ). Tickets are $7 for Adults, $6 for Botanica members, and $5 for children ages 3 -12.   Advance tickets will be available at all area QuikTrip locations, online at botanica.org, at the door, or by calling Kathy Osler at 264-0448 ext. 107.

Members must purchase their tickets at Botanica or online to receive their discount.
