The Delano
Community Garden Fence Project
Every garden needs a fence.
Last year the Delano Community Garden
was marked on the north-east corner of the garden
with a flower bed & sign facing the intersection of Handley and Texas.
This year we would like to construct a fence
along the north & east sides of the garden...
but not just any fence...
an art fence!

The fence will consist of around 24 individual panels (frames - apprximately 6’ x 3’).
Each frame will then be available to the gardeners or aspiring local artists to fill in as they wish.
The only requirements will be that the items used must be found or recycled objects only.
We are inviting people to fill the fence frames starting
April 16th and running through April 22nd (Earth Day).
On Sunday, April 22nd from 2-5pm
we will be hosting a Garden Party
